Dubai, UAE, 21 March 2011 – CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, has announced the opening of a new 63,000 sq m facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), Dubai, expanding CEVA’s warehouse space in the Middle East to over 100,000 sq m.
The new warehouse, also including office space, supports the company’s growth strategy in the Middle East which is driven by offering sustainable cost and operating efficiencies for customers through truly integrated solutions, shared user networks and consolidation services.
The new purpose built facility encompasses the latest technology and is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified. The warehouse also has a specialist 3,000 sq m which is licensed to store Classes 2, 3 and 4 under the dangerous goods license.
The new building has been developed in collaboration with Gazeley, global developer of highly efficient, environmentally friendly logistics and industrial spaces, and is designed to meet the highest standards in environmental construction and efficiency. This is the second project where CEVA has partnered with Gazeley, the first being last year when CEVA leased a unique 12,000 sq m pyramid building in Dubai, which acts as a central hub for all regional customers and serves as the Company’s Middle East headquarters.

The second unit provides over 26,000 sq m ambient warehousing and a further 400 sq m of office space specifically catering to the requests of customers across a variety of industries.
An announcement ceremony hosted by CEVA took place on the morning of 14 March, 2011.
