An article on AllThingsD caught my eye today and got me thinking. Self-driving cars could be a great improvement, as Google Founder Sergey Brin said when interviewed by AllThingsD:

“These cars have the potential to avoid accidents. … They can save lives and reduce congestion. I expect that self-driving cars will be far safer than human-driven cars.”

Google’s self-driving cars were already allowed on the roads of Nevada. The California governor has signed a bill legalizing self-driving cars at Google HQ this Tuesday.

Google Trucks

I wonder when Google will start testing self driving trucks. They already move around and store massive amounts of data, maybe they are just as good at moving around goods. Or shouldn’t they?
