Lombard, Illinois USA (September 26, 2012)–The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) will hold its second annual India conference, Creating Effective Supply Chains in a Global Economy, February 22-23, 2013. The event will be held at the Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel in Mumbai, and will offer educational sessions and networking opportunities to international supply chain executives.
The sessions and interactive discussions will focus on the best approaches and solutions for achieving successful supply chains and maximizing profitability. Experts from leading Indian and other global corporations will discuss the processes that practitioners need to master to streamline their supply chains and run more efficient operations. Session topics include supply chain efficiency and cost management, infrastructure and technology, sustainability, strategic planning, and challenges in retail logistics.
“We created a global event for supply chain leaders in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond to provide them with industry knowledge, innovative ideas and perspectives, and opportunities to connect with hundreds of peers,” said Rick Blasgen, CSCMP president and chief executive officer. “Last year’s India conference exceeded attendees’ expectations–it was a superb first event for India. Our next conference in February 2013 will be even bigger and better, designed to help professionals position their organizations for profitable growth and take their careers to the next level.”
