Business Risk in Fresh Connection

SCALA125Business  and consumer risks from supplier problems and operational variability through to changes in customer demand patterns are part of a major development in The Fresh Connection 2013

Working with SCALA,  Keith Newton, previously CS&L Director with Cadbury/Kraft, will now ensure Fresh Connection continues to meet companies needs in the developing retail marketplace 

Keith said “This is a significant new inclusion and further strengthens the Fresh Connection challenge. The management of risk in the supply chain, and ultimately for the consumer,  is one of the largest growing issues that companies need to address. Fresh Connection participants will need to identify these potential dangers and take appropriate actions to resolve and mitigate the risks in a way that will provide them with real learning’s to take back into their businesses.”

Major names in the manufacturing, retail, logistics and software solution sectors are continuing to sign up and current companies participating include Unilever, Kimberly Clark, Jordans & Ryvita, Westmill Foods, Mars, Mondolez(Cadbury/Kraft),Bird’s Eye, Waitrose, Borg Warner, Norbert Dentressangle and FuturMaster.

The UK Champions will go on to compete in the Global Final with 20 other countries which will take place in Turkey in September 2013.
