UPS Logistics Technologies Awarded Food Logistics 100 for 7th Year in a Row

For the seventh year in a row UPS Logistics Technologies is honored to receive the esteemed Food Logistics Top 100 (FL100) technology service provider award. Each year Food Logistics identifies the solutions providers that are able assist foodservice distributors in reaching their specific business goals. This year, the magazine focused the theme on bouncing back through tough economic times with technology.

“Despite the harsh environment, the past year has seen a number of food and beverage companies implementing technology solutions—especially transportation management and warehouse management systems—where they can see a quick ROI,” says Katherine Doherty, editor-in-chief of Food Logistics magazine. “Many of our FL100 recipients report that the food industry is still a strong vertical for them—in fact, it’s one of the few markets that they are actually seeing any growth.”

The FL100 listing provides a guide for decision-making grocery and foodservice distribution and manufacturing executives. After receiving nomination forms from end users and solution providers, the editorial staff culled through more than 140 submissions to compile this year’s listing. Final recipients are featured in the November/December 2010 issue of Food Logistics, as well as online at www.foodlogistics.com.
