Samuel Israel Appointed as New Regional CEO for Latin America

DAMCO125Damco is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Samuel Israel as Regional CEO for the Latin America Region.

With over thirty years of experience in the logistics industry, Mr. Israel has occupied a number of high profile positions in the region, including Country Manager for Mexico at Danzas and 12 years as CEO for DHL Global Forwarding Latin America.

Prior to Latin America, Mr. Israel, a French national, held various commercial and operational roles in France, including Operations Manager for Danzas and Ocean Freight Director for Panalpina before making the move to Latin America in 1999. 

Damco CEO Rolf Habben-Jansen commented: “Latin America offers great potential for our Supply Chain Management expertise. We have ambitious plans on developing Damco throughout the region, notably in Brazil and Mexico as well as in the Andean region.
