CSCMP Enhances Customer Experience for Companies and Supply Chain Candidates in Growing Career Center

CSCMP125Lombard, Illinois USA (May 15, 2013) – As one of its key initiatives, the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) has been connecting companies and job candidates for nearly five decades. In 2007, the organization launched its online career center to assist global companies with their supply chain management hiring needs and individuals seeking exclusive career opportunities. CSCMP recently added new products, features, and job-posting packages to the career center to enhance jobseekers’ and organizations’ overall customer experience.

Enhancements include banner ads positioned on the jobseekers’ page, making it easier for candidates to research companies of interest. The ads will also increase organizations’ marketing power and reach. In addition, the career center will now offer a variety of flexible job-posting packages for employers, such as single-posting options and an array of discounted packages that may be used for up to one year from the date of purchase. Virtual career fairs are in the works for the near future.

“CSCMP’s Career Center continues to expand and enhance its offerings to accommodate the increase in hiring that we’re seeing,” said Patricia O’Rourke, CSCMP’s Career Center coordinator. “Smart executives are adding additional talent to their supply chain teams in order to manage global growth, and candidates are benefiting from this increased hiring activity. Enlisting the support of a niche platform like CSCMP’s Career Center gives organizations the competitive edge in hiring skilled professionals who will make a positive impact on the bottom line.”

Located at on the “Career” menu tab, CSCMP’s Career Center is the supply chain management profession’s most sophisticated recruiting resource. With more than 3,000 registered executive and academic recruiters and employers, and 8,000-plus highly-qualified candidates, the career center is a user-friendly recruitment resource for candidates and employers from all disciplines within the supply chain and logistics management professions.
