 Milan, Italy, 5 February, 2013 – CEVA Logistics, one of the world’s leading supply chain companies, has signed a new five year contract with Nardi Elettrodomestici, a specialist in white goods production, operating in over 80 countries.CEVA will manage the transport of Nardi’s cooking, refrigeration and washing products, both built-in and free-standing, from the production site to CEVA’s warehouse in Monselice, near Padova. The logistics operator will handle the stocking and distribution for a total of 440,000 inbound and outbound pieces a year.CEVA will use its cutting edge technological solutions, CEVA Matrix™, a suite of information technology systems that support the complete end-to-end supply chain ensuring maximum flexibility, real-time visibility of inventory and shipment status, distribution network optimization and cost savings. Through sound experience with white goods logistics, CEVA has proven itself the ideal partner to address the challenges of the home appliances market, which is characterized by high dynamism and rapid product obsolescence.
