CEVA expands Freight Management agreement with Tech Data

Operator becomes wholesale technology distributor’s primary U.S. LTL carrier

Houston, Texas, 15 November 2011 – CEVA Logistics, one of the world’s leading supply chain companies, today announced the renewal of its contract with Tech Data Corporation (NasdaqGS: TECD), one of the world’s largest wholesale distributors of technology products. CEVA, which has worked with Tech Data for more than 15 years, has now expanded its relationship to become the wholesale technology distributor’s primary Less than Truck Load (LTL) carrier in the United States.Under the terms of the agreement, CEVA will provide LTL services for all of Tech Data’s U.S. retail distribution of devices such as computers, peripherals, laptops, servers, televisions, tablets and MP3 players. CEVA will also offer onsite operational support at Tech Data’s largest logistics centers.

CEVA’s success in servicing Tech Data’s distribution for a major consumer electronics manufacturer played an important role in the decision to expand the relationship. CEVA has built strong local relationships with Tech Data’s logistics centers and proven itself through high-quality deliveries that significantly limit damage to the products. CEVA has also provided flexibility in shipping and receiving times, as well as having scalable solutions to meet Tech Data’s schedule and equipment needs.
