![]() CEVA’s winning submission this year is for a project related to the solution design and management of reverse logistics for a sporting goods company. This project included establishing and managing a large processing and distribution center which manages the pick-up and delivery for more than 100 wholesalers and thousands of retailers nationwide. CEVA provided professional management and innovative solutions including site location, layout design, resource planning and provision, cost model, operational procedure and systems support. Utilizing CEVA Ground’s extensive domestic network, CEVA demonstrated impeccable execution by exceeding the high KPIs set in extremely critical and dynamic operating circumstances to satisfy the customer’s requirements. These were the key success factors contributing to CEVA’s award win. Max Henry, the founder of the Global Supply Chain Council said: “All winners are selected by on-line voting this year. CEVA has proven that it has provided high level 3PL services to its customer and successfully gained the highest number of votes by logistics professionals and customers.” “Domestic transportation is one of the main services that we are focused on. We have completed the buy-out of CEVA Ground in China this year and integrated it with CEVA’s global network,” said Jurrie-Jan Tap, Vice President, Business Development, China. “By doing this, we are able to maximize CEVA Ground’s domestic capability to provide integrated solutions to customers. Winning this award is solid proof that CEVA is not only an international leader but also a powerful domestic player in the China market.” This is the second consecutive year CEVA has been named the winner of The Best 3PL Supply Chain Provider and was also a winner of this category in 2008.
