United Arab Emirates – March 11, 2012 – TNT Express UAE, one of the world’s leading express distribution companies, announced the winners of the second qualifying round of the TNT Trophy held at the Jumeirah Golf Estates on Saturday 10th March 2012.
TNT Trophy is a series of eight events which will be played on six different golf courses in the UAE with the grand final at Yas Links on October 5th, 2012. Each qualifying round will be an 18-hole individual event, played in stableford format to three-quarter handicap. Each player must have an approved EGF handicap, which will be audited by the hosting golf club. This event is supported by Taylormade, 7 days, Performance You, Crystal Gallery and Worldwide Golf as the official Co-sponsors.
The triumph of the second round went to Suad Ghalib with a net score of 34 points. Brian McCarthy became the first runner up beating his nearest challenger Graham Hallet by one point.
The next qualifying round will be held on Saturday 14th April 2012 at the Al Badia Golf Course. The series covers one event at the Jumeirah Golf Estates on 26th May, Arabian Ranches Golf Club on September 21st, The Address Montgomerie Dubai on September 28th and the grand final will be held at the Yas Links on October 5th, 2012.
