Ok. Technically I wasn’t sitting on the dock of the bay. I was lounging at Pele Surf Shack in Hook of Holland, enjoying breakfast with my wife and daughter after a nice walk along the beach and in the dunes with our dog.
I love that spot. You can enjoy the fresh air and the beauty of the Dutch coastline and also look at the container terminals of the Maasvlakte Terminal and watch huge container ships roll in, and roll away again.
I’ve tried looking up what vessel we saw leaving port, and I think it was the ONE AQUILA.
