Power Packaging, an Exel company, recently announced that Kevin Bauer has been named president of the business. He replaces Geoff Campbell, who will retire at the end of the year.
“Power Packaging has a long history of driving innovation and technology throughout the industry, and I look forward to playing an integral role in the company’s continued growth and success,” said Bauer.
Bauer has worked in the consumer packaged goods and food industries for more than 20 years, with experience in finance, consumer marketing, strategy, planning, operations and general management. Prior to joining Power Packaging, he was the senior vice president of global sales and marketing for The NutraSweet Company.
While there, Bauer served as a global representative for the company, managing relationships with key customers and distribution partners throughout the world.
Bauer earned a bachelor’s degree with concentrations in finance and marketing from Syracuse University and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a member of the American Marketing Association and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Commonwealth Ventures, LLC and RCA Illinois, LLC.
