Berlin/Paris/Essen, April 4, 2013 – Effective March 18, 2013 Philippe Gilbert took over the responsibility as Regional Director Europe West of DB Schenker Logistics. So far, he headed the freight management division of the SNCF subsidiary Geodis Wilson in Paris, France.
The 48 years logistics expert has held positions of responsibility in various countries throughout the world. He is based in Paris, from where he will coordinate the DB Schenker Logistics activities in France, Spain, Portugal, and Italy.
Karl Nutzinger, who was responsible for the Region Europe West on an interim basis up to now, will concentrate on his responsibility as Member of the Board of Schenker AG, responsible for Land Transport.
