LOGICA125A competition to search for innovative projects that are delivering a more sustainable future for local communities has been launched by Logica, a leading business and technology service company.

Projects will be judged on their level of creativity and innovation by a panel of sustainability experts including:  Prof. Dr. Dr. Ervin Laszlo, founder and President of the Club of Budapest, Professor Mark Maslin, climatologist at University College London and Tom Raftery, Principal Analyst for GreenMonk.

The competition is open to people in the UK, Netherlands, Finland, France, Germany and Sweden. One deserving winner will receive €20,000 worth of consultancy from Logica’s team of sustainability experts, to help strategise and implement their project.

Wim Wendt, Benelux Sustainability Practice Leader at Logica said: “We see end users as key in the success of sustainable changes. They have to be convinced of the benefits of a new solutions, like the business case of differential car fuel pricing proves. This competition is aimed to identify initiatives that are developed by end users and that can deliver real business value and a more sustainable future today.”
