DAMCO West Europe has appointed Helmut Kaspers as Chief Commercial Officer
Helmut Kaspers has been appointed DAMCO as CCO for West Europe Region. The new appointment marks another milestone in his career in logistics.
His previous position was with leading international 3PL company Logwin as member of the executive committee with specific focus on Ocean and Air.
His former career steps include roles as CEO of Birkart Globistics Group, Regional Director of West Germany for Kuehne & Nagel, Executive Vice President for Ocean Freight at Schenker and Product Manager for Seafreight at Dachser.
In addition to his new role as Damco West Europe CCO, Mr Kaspers will continue to act as non-executive director of the board of TAL International (USA), a container leasing company, a role he commenced during his sabbatical in 2012.
