- Early extension to contract and a commitment to two more years
- The Group has now been main sponsor of the Beethovenfest for a decade
- Post Tower Lounge to stage free concerts once again in 2013
Bonn, 03/08/2013, 11:30 AM CET – Deutsche Post DHL will once again organise a varied complementary programme free of charge in the Post Tower Lounge.
Deutsche Post DHL is set to continue in its role as main sponsor of Bonn’s Beethovenfest beyond the current year. The Group, which can now look back on a decade-long partnership with what is regarded as one of the long-standing highlights of the Bonn cultural calendar, today announced ahead of schedule a two-year extension to its collaboration with an event which takes place every year in the world famous composer’s native city. In doing so, the company’s involvement goes above and beyond mere financial sponsorship. Indeed, this year Deutsche Post DHL will once again organise a varied complementary programme free of charge in the Post Tower Lounge. The concerts are intended to appeal to those with an interest in music but who perhaps don’t attend classical events on a regular basis. During the Beethovenfest, the Post Tower Lounge has, since 2004, attracted approx. 27,000 guests from all over the world.
Main sponsor of the Beethovenfest for a decade

Once again in 2013, the complementary programme in the Post Tower Lounge is a permanent fixture in the Beethovenfest calendar. In the somewhat unusual musical setting of the ground floor of the Post Tower, visitors will be able to savour a discerning programme, which is, as ever, free for all guests. Furthermore, Deutsche Post DHL shall also be supporting the “Clear the stage for Beethoven” concerts which are taking place as part of Beethovenfest 2013. Showcasing the talents of local schoolchildren, these concerts are sure to capture the imagination of the Bonn audience.
