Customer service and international expertise: DB Schenker utilizes “transport logistic” to dialogue with customers and recruit new talent

DB Schenker to present its strong networks, attractive industry solutions and products and services for sustainable climate protection at the Munich trade fair – First paperless trade fair booth – booth 209/310, hall B6

DBSCHENKER125Berlin, May 31, 2013 – DB Schenker, the Transportation and Logistics Division of Deutsche Bahn, will present its core areas of expertise and range of services at the “transport logistic” trade fair in Munich from June 4 to 7.

“We will be showcasing our strong international network and attractive industry solutions, including those for the automotive, consumer goods and chemical industries, at the fair. The DB Schenker booth in Munich will also feature climate-friendly solutions. Our sustainable DB2020 Strategy is a brand and performance commitment that is also geared toward environmental protection,” said Dr. Karl-Friedrich Rausch, Member of the Management Board of DB Mobility Logistics AG responsible for Transportation and Logistics. “Our appearance at the 2013 trade fair will therefore be paper-free.”

DB’s top managers, including Dr. Rüdiger Grube, Chairman of the Management Board of DB; Dr. Alexander Hedderich, Chairman of the Management Board of DB Schenker Rail; and Dr. Hansjörg Rodi, Chairman of the Management Board of Schenker Deutschland AG, will discuss a variety of topics at various forums and events at the world’s largest trade fair in the transportation logistics industry.

This year’s appearance will focus on modern solutions for industry and trade that involve smart ways of connecting the different modes of transportation at DB Schenker. Visitors can experience the wide range of solutions the DB Schenker Logistics and DB Schenker Rail Business Units have to offer at booth 209/310 in hall B6. Experts from the various industries and the product areas will be on hand to talk shop at DB Schenker’s over 1,100 square meter exhibition area. School and university students as well as experienced professionals will be able to learn about professional training and job opportunities at DB Schenker on all four days of the fair. DB Schenker has special job search and recruiting activities planned for “Future Friday” on Friday, June 7.
