CEVA opens new multi-user facility in Southern California

Masco Corporation signs on as first customer in facility, expanding CEVA’s footprint within Consumer and Retail goods industry

Houston, Texas USA, 15 March, 2012 – CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, today announced that it has acquired a 42,735 sq m (460,000 sq ft) facility in Southern California. Masco Corporation, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of brand-name consumer products for the home and family, has signed a multi-year contract as the first customer in the facility.The facility is strategically located within three miles of the Ontario airport and one mile of major interstate arteries, making it an ideal hub for west coast distribution. It can currently handle 300 trailers with its 50 doors and there are plans for expansion. The facility is equipped with multi-tier pick modules and automated sortation to help maximize order processing efficiency. 

Multi-user facilities are part of CEVA’s commitment to bringing best in class supply chain solutions to the market. The sites deliver tangible benefits to customers’ logistics operations, through economies of scale, shared overheads and focused supply chain expertise for their sector. As the first customer at this facility, Masco Corporation has signed a multi-year contract with CEVA to manage west coast distribution and logistics services for several Masco subsidiaries in the USA.
