CEVA Appoints James A. Weynand EVP of Global Technology Sector

Houston, Texas, 19 September 2011 – CEVA Logistics, one of the world’s leading supply chain companies, today announced that James A. Weynand has been named Executive Vice President of the company’s Technology Sector business.Weynand will report to Vittorio Favati, Chief Business Development Officer for the company.   “Jim’s depth of experience in the Technology sector, which has focused on business development and sales – with an emphasis on technology, services and business process outsourcing – will be a tremendous asset for CEVA.  He brings valuable market insights to our high-growth technology business that all of CEVA’s constituencies – customers and Tech Sector team alike – will find educational and helpful,” Favati said.

Weynand joins CEVA from SM&A, a management consulting firm based in Newport Beach, CA, where he was Executive Vice President of Global Sales, Marketing and Business Development.  Prior to his tenure with SM&A, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager for Unisys, North America.  He has also held senior leadership positions in the Americas with HP, Compaq and IBM in a technology-centric career spanning more than 20 years.

Weynand will be based in Houston.  He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Texas at Denton, TX, and has done advanced studies in Global Executive Leadership Development at Babson College in Boston, MA, and in Executive Education at the University of Virginia Darden Graduate School of Business Administration in Charlottesville, VA.
