Louisville, KY – Derby Supply Chain Solutions has been awarded the Lighthouse
Beam Safety Award that is presented by BB & T Insurance.
The award was presented to Diana Herold, president of Derby Supply Chain Solutions, by John Couch representing BB & T Insurance. The award recognizes an excellent safety record in worker’s compensation policy loss ratio.
Derby recorded a 7.42% worker’s compensation policy loss ratio over the previous 12 month period which placed it in the “Excellent Safety Performance” category of 3PL providers.
The milestones that were reached by Derby Supply Chain Solutions in 2010 were:
• Cleveland, TN – 3000 days without a lost time accident
• Louisville, KY, Water Products Division – 1000 days without a lost time accident
• Allentown, PA, Cascade Dr. location – 1000 days without a lost time accident
• Allentown, PA, Nestle enclave – 1000 days without a lost time accident
The number of recordable accidents was the lowest in 5 years.
