RedPrairie’s Spanish partner Alfaland Sistemas implements WMS for leading global logistics provider
STOKENCHURCH, U.K. – RedPrairie Corporation, a productivity solutions provider, announces that its warehouse management solution (WMS) is supporting the global logistics company UTi at its Guadalajara site in Spain. The implementation was carried out by RedPrairie’s Spanish partner Alfaland Sistemas, a division of the Alfaland Group, which is dedicated to providing automation solutions, management systems and improved control of the supply chain.
UTi operates 20 distribution centres and employs 759 people across its Spanish network. The company provides sophisticated logistics and value-added services for a wide range of customers.
RedPrairie’s WMS allows UTi to easily integrate additional clients within its supply chain operations. The latest customer to benefit from the system is FON, a manufacturer and supplier of WiFi equipment. Implemented at UTi’s warehouse in Azuqueca de Henares, Guadalajara, RedPrairie’s system ensures the company has full traceability of products from dispatch to final delivery and that all serial numbers are recorded for security.
