Technology Asset Protection Association (TAPA) is a global forum of security, insurance and logistics professionals established to ensure the safe and secure transport, storage and warehousing of TAPA members’ assets throughout the world.
Mark Woodcock, Country General Manager for TNT ExpressSaudi Arabia & Bahrain commented: “We understand that our clients want complete peace of mind when handing over their valuable commodities. TNT Express’ commitment to maintaining security standards, from door to door, contributes to a better and safer global service offering to our customers.”
TAPA certified companies must pass a detailed independent physical premises audit to ensure compliance with numerous Freight Security Requirements. The original award and subsequent recertification process is a multi-level process and only those companied achieving a high score, against the standard, are approved.
“This was a very stringent audit and we are proud to have achieved an excellent score once again. We view the attainment and retention of such important standards as crucial to the success of our business and that of our clients,” added Bryan Moulds, Managing Director for TNT Express Middle East.
