Lieb concentrates management focus on DB Schenker Logistics

Trefzger to assume responsibility for Air and Ocean Freight at the global logistics service provider as of May 1


(Essen/Berlin, April 30, 2012) As of May 1, Dr. Thomas C. Lieb, Chairman of the Board of Management of Schenker AG and until now also responsible for Air and Ocean Freight activities worldwide, will focus his efforts on his position as Chairman of the Board of Management. His focal points will include further expansion of key customer support structured by industry as well as operational management of the management regions. The regional managers throughout the organization worldwide report directly to him.

Dr. Detlef Trefzger, Member of the Board of Management of Schenker AG responsible for worldwide contract logistics and supply chain management, will assume responsibility for Air and Ocean Freight in addition to his present tasks.

This change is part of a long-planned restructuring of the Schenker AG Board of Management and is necessary in order to optimize further strengthening of worldwide business with the network of more than 2,000 sites in over 130 countries.
