Kinaxis Names Kirk Munroe as Vice President of Marketing

Supply Chain Management and S&OP Software Provider Strengthens Management Team to Meet Market Demands

Ottawa, Canada, September 12, 2011— Kinaxis™ Inc., provider of the on-demand supply chain management (SCM) and sales and operations planning (S&OP) software service, RapidResponse™, recently named Kirk Munroe, as vice president of marketing. In directing the company’s product and go-to-market strategies, Munroe will drive the adoption of RapidResponse into new market segments.

“With nearly two decades of product strategy experience, Kirk delivers the insights and proficiency that Kinaxis needs to best serve its current customer base and to expand into new markets,” said John Sicard, chief operating officer at Kinaxis. “As the business landscape continues to grow more complex, there has been an increase in the number of companies looking to leverage enhanced supply chain response management capabilities to gain command and control over their business operations. RapidResponse meets that need, and Kirk is the person to position the value the solution delivers.”

Prior to joining Kinaxis, Munroe led sales engagement strategy and sales enablement for Business Analytics at IBM. “The strong management structure and dynamic team at Kinaxis made joining the company very appealing,” said Munroe. “But it was the opportunity to work with the robust technology and the passionate customer base that made it an easy decision. RapidResponse can shorten the time to detect and correct any supply and demand balancing situation, allowing operational execution to become a nimble and collaborative experience. It has the ability to completely change the way enterprises operate, and the current market readiness for this opportunity presents an exciting opportunity for Kinaxis and for me personally.”
