FedEx Express Introduces Chinese Language Air Waybill

Greater Convenience for Shipping Goods from Hong Kong to Southern China

FEDEX125HONG KONG, September 10, 2012 — FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, is bringing greater convenience to customers in Hong Kong with the introduction of its Chinese language air waybill. Customers can use traditional or simplified Chinese for the consignee’s address on both air waybill and commercial invoices for shipments from Hong Kong to Southern China.

“FedEx continuously enhances our services to bring greater convenience and flexibility to customers,” said Anthony Leung, managing director, FedEx Express, Hong Kong and Macau.  “With the growing popularity of e-commerce websites in Hong Kong, the introduction of a Chinese language air waybill allows parcel shippers in the city to address shipments in a language their Southern China customers are accustomed to.”

The enhancement is applicable to shipments sent from Hong Kong to the Chinese provinces of Chongqing, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan, Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan and Yunnan.
