Outstanding Operations and Customer Service Support Earns Company 2012 Lowe’s Platinum Carrier Award

JOPLIN, Mo. – June 11, 2013 – Con-way Truckload, a full truckload carrier and subsidiary of Con-way Inc. (NYSE:CNW), today announced that it was recently honored by Lowe’s Home Improvement with a Platinum Carrier Award for excellent operating performance, on-time service and reliability.

Each year, Lowe’s recognizes and honors carriers that have consistently exceeded the demands of its transportation needs over the previous year.

Criteria for the customer award include superior performance in the categories of on-time service, load acceptance and EDI shipment status compliance. Con-way Truckload achieved a compliance record of 99.8 percent for the past year to earn the Platinum Carrier Award.

Con-way Truckload provides inbound and outbound transportation services for the customer’s extensive network of vendors, regional distribution centers and stores throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada. The carrier has received multiple customer awards from Lowe’s throughout their seven-year relationship for consistently attaining high performance levels.
