Employees Help Drive the Development of New Technology at TQL

Cincinnati — Total Quality Logistics (TQL) today released its new On-the-Go mobile application to its more than 2,000 employees. The On-the-Go app was developed through a collaborative effort between the company’s sales force and its IT department. 

“Our logistics account executives are motivated and driven to exceed their customers’ expectations,” said George Rewick, chief information officer at TQL. “On-the-Go empowers them by expanding their view of the freight they manage and providing them with the mobile tools needed to operate in our fast-paced environment.”  

TQL’s On-the-Go app has been in development for several months. The app gives TQL’s employees the ability to monitor and manage the movement of freight from the convenience of their smartphone or tablet. 

The TQL sales team played an integral role in the design and delivery of this application. Without their advice, regular feedback, and rigorous testing, On-the-Go would not have been possible. 

“Our employees suggested features and functionality that really improved this app,” said Rewick. “It will give each and every one of them an edge because they will be able to serve their customers faster and more completely than ever before.”
